Warped Tour '06

July 25th was a good day. i went to warped tour with Jandro. Emily was going to come but she couldnt becuase her dad said no! i was upset.

Warped tour was really rad. i saw Less Than Jake, Billy Talent, The Casualties, Cartel, Thurday, Sences Fail, Greely Estates, HelloGoodbye, and NOFX.

Less Than Jake gave a grand preformance. they sound no different then the record. i moshed and body surfed and then i got tired of that and went up on the hill. as luck would have it, people started a circle skank around a tree! it was so kool! i had to join in so i did so and we all ended up trampling some poor lady and so we stopped and she moved and then some guy yelled, "PARTY!" and then we started again. they had a leaf blower with toilet paper on the end and the shot it into the crowd. that was really kool.

Billy Talent also gave a grand preformance. they are from canada. i love that guys voice. they played some songs from their new album and it was really good. i liked it and i immediately downloaded it when i got home. they gave a good preformance but they could stand to give a better show. he didnt talk to the crowd that much.

the casualties were very good aslo. this was my first time seeing them and that music is some hardcore punk right there. i loved it. moshing was great for that show. after two songs, the bassist ran off the stage and bought a beer and then came back and drank it on stage. that was pretty kool.

Cartel....they were a dissapointment. he cannot sing as well as he can on the album. they were boring and they arent popular enough to havea big stage. jandro and i didnt even stay for the whole preformance. if you've heard one emo pop band, you've heard them all...

thursday was good but i only caught the last few songs of their set and they were ok. i dont really know much by them.

Senses Faill was CRAZY! the body surfers were Overwhelming. one after the other. i was up there a few times. i dont think i really payed attention to the preformance becuase the crowd was fucking awesome.

Greely estates was playing very well. i didnt really watch them but i definately heard them. they played well. i got their autographs later at their tent on a piece of paper that i found on the ground. they are nice fellows.

Hellogoodbye can sure give a show. they preformed at a sub-par level but boy did they get a crowd pumped. Touchdown was their last song and they extended it and brought out five guys dressed like hotdogs, pizzas, and bananas. then the ENERGIZER BUNNY! came out and danced. then the lead singer got a raft and mounted it and surfed it out into the crowd! that was hella dank shit!

NOFX was a dissapointment. i thought it was going to be a good punk show but they opened with a piece-of-shit song and then played ska stuff. the last few songs were good punk but i wasnt about to go moshing becuase there was a 6'7 tall fat guy in there running around. he had already plowed through me once and it hurt like hell and my shoulder still hurts from it.

we left after NOFX and went to taco bell. that was yummy. we went homeand then me and jandro discussed our day to eachother and then i drove him home. i came home and at 12:30 some dick decided to TP my house...why the fuck do you TP a house DEEP in a neighborhood at 12 fucking 30? my mom went out and picked up some stuff and then a white jetta drove by real slow and stopped at the corner for a good 45 seconds and then i had the bright idea to chase after him. i almost got him and then i lost him becuase he got to far ahead of me and i got stopped by a red light...kind of anti-climactic

and the light shown through and you all could finally read my writing!

Well i hope you all are happy. you can finally read my writing again. i got a myspace. my name is "This Is Where The Stitching Goes". i hope people still look at my xanga page. its been quitea long time. i thought id finally do something about my layout dilemma. ive been writing some poems over my absence from xanga. ive found that TV bores me and feeds me senceless knowledge so ill write and compose music though i play percussion. o well.

here is one poem that i wrote because of my dear friend melody. it isnt about her but i was talking to her one night and i started rhyming and i liked it and it worked on it. well hear it is.

This is my evening every night. Or my shower in the morning. Or my lunch at 2:00 pm. Because dinner is so boring. I’d work for days and my hours stack on end. But the beginning is confusing because the hours seem to bend. I’ve touched the hearts of the heartless, and blown the hearts of those too big. But why do you adore them when I focus on trying not to live?

You’ve given me a reason…you’ve given me my heart. Such as my heart for the seasons. I’ve found a place to start. Don’t worry about the meaning. It wasn’t for you anyway. You can sure as hell feel special, but I wouldn’t waste the day away. Please don’t lose sleep, please don’t take them to keep, but let them be for the world, but tell them where you got it please.

I may be crazy, but you’re just nonsense. A vine to be pulled from the tree. I may be ridiculed but then you’re just humiliated and left for the world to see. But still…you’ve given me a reason…you’ve given me my heart. Such as my heart for the seasons. I’ve found a place to start. Don’t worry about the meaning. It wasn’t for you anyway. You can sure as hell feel special, but I wouldn’t waste the day away.

TWO POEMS

This blog is just old poems that got erased from my last xanga site and i need to put them on the computer so incase my notebook gets destroyed of lost considering that current condition of it isnt very good. you have read them before. if not...here you go...if you have, i hope you liked them.

POLLUTION

drown with me, oh drown with me. im choking on the air. oh help me, help me please. dont just sit and stare. kill by numbers one, two, three, you too killed four and five. you hear the deaths in one two three and which number was i? you ask, "wheres six?" and i answer in reply, "you are number six my friend." in heartless black burned sky. bang bang to the head, ill paint the ceiling red, pick up the shards of broken glass and lay them in your bed.

pardon me, oh pardon me, my actions out of line. oh, do forgive me for the way I'VE acted, id rather watch you shine. Pick me up and stike me down, a series of escalated falls. Contridiction's your first name, look at your audience now...do you hear applause? bang bang to the head ill pain the ceiling red, pick up the shards of glass and lay them in your bed

RENDER ME UNCONCIOUS

And to think they didnt know how he felt inside. his heart was broken and no one had cared. its not like it was a big deal, he just fell hard. he had cracked concrete falling for her. didnt think it would hurt. the next time he fell upon broken glass. this was not his fault although he wished it was. he would have drown himself and cut his wrists and hed do it all because, because he knew how much he loved her and he thought it was the truth. oh such blatant disregard for how young in his youth. the light cannot shine through this time, the water is too deep. hes sunk so low in this depression of pressure that its a whole new world of pain. the light will not shine through this time the blood has ceased to move. he sits and watches time go by. the seconds pass and come again but nothing changes. living seems so hard. LIVING SEEMS SO HARD! for him, he keeps walking. hed fall over in the grassif it werent infested with his cancer of passion. it follows still and haunts with such grace. a midnight runner at best. hush hush, dont look for you'll be  caught in his nightmare. I'm not sad, im miserable. im not mad, im enraged. im not broken, im shattered.

i want to let all of you know that these poemshave nothing to do with people that i know or myself  for that matter. the last poem does but only with one person and it was a while back. its not important now. thanks for reading.

THIS IS MY NEW SITE!!!

well, this is my new Xanga site.

i hope you all like it.

i like the picture on it alot. vibrant red on stark white is my new favorite color combination. it just seems so bland and then it just jump out at you...so unexpecting. it gets a thumbs up in my book. woo hoo.

my mom found my old xanga site. that was kinda scary. she flipped out. i have to stop using bad words in my blogs. bad words dont mean anything anyway. they're just there and they dont do anything. they excentuate what other more beautiful words can do. but anyway, she thinks im severely depressed and she says shes worried about me. she says that my words are threatening to others and shes afraid ill go crazy or something or stop believing in God...i still believe in God and im not about to stop but can you say OVER REACTING?!

talk about being a bitch...

im sorry...i meant to say, talk about being an extravegantly rude female who underminds my writing effect and ability.

that wasnt so hard. sure you have to beat around the bush to get the point across but hey, i did it without using a bad word...go me!

well, i hope you like the new site. seems fun with a fusion or bland and illuminant. i think it settles right in with normal.
